Q: Can you share a bit about your business?
A: Brite Design Studio is a one-woman business creating small-batch, handmade ceramics and bold art prints that bring personality and joy into everyday spaces. My customers are primarily women aged 25–35 who love colorful, quirky design and seek out unique, artist-made decor and gifts that reflect their individuality.
Q: What do you hope to get out of the incubator program?
A: I hope the incubator will help me bring focus, structure, and tangible growth goals to my business. I’m looking for guidance on building a wholesale strategy, refining financial projections, and developing a realistic plan for scaling while staying true to my creative vision.
Q: What is your motivation and inspiration for pursuing your business idea?
A: ’ve been making art my entire life and have always dreamed of creating a business that blends my creative passion with functional, expressive products. Brite Design Studio allows me to share my work in a way that sparks joy, feels personal, and connects with customers who value handmade art.
Q: What is a fun fact about you? Can you share a bit about your background, hobbies and interests?
A: I hold an MFA in digital design and communications and have over 20 years of experience as a designer and college-level creative educator. Outside of teaching, I’ve always pursued hands-on making, and now as a parent and artist, I’m building Brite Design Studio to bring my lifelong love of art into a thriving creative business.
