With a focus on biology as a technology, IndieBio has funded over 94 companies solving problems in all areas of biotech, including future of food/agriculture, biopharma and healthcare, computational biology, regenerative medicine, neurotech, biomaterials, and more. Bio
Jun Axup is the Science Director at IndieBio. She has a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from The Scripps Research Institute and BS in Biochemistry from Indiana University. She worked in several startups in the fields of immuno-oncology, protein engineering, lab automation robotics, CRISPR, and precision medicine. At IndieBio, she advises companies, runs scientific programming, makes investment decisions, and fosters a stronger biotech entrepreneurship community.
