This Technovation Community Kick-off Event is designed to help the teams generate ideas for how their mobile app project might address community needs.

Experts representing various community organizations and issues will be available for the students during this workshop. The students will be invited to play the role of news reporters who are on assignment. They will brainstorm questions and interview the community experts in topics including health, literacy, aging, diversity, environment, transportation, food, and housing.

Within their teams, they will report back what they heard and create a mind map of ideas for their Technovation mobile app.
