Technovation SE Minnesota is looking for Mentors!
The Technovation Southeast Minnesota core planning team is gearing up to launch their 2018 season. Technovation unites Business, Design, and IT professionals with teachers in grades 6-12 to help girls learn how to code and foster an entrepreneurial spirit through full participation in the Technovation program.
They are currently looking for mentors who can provide guidance on user interface design, programming, business plans, competitive analysis, project management, or marketing. It's a 12-week structured program that begins in January 2018. Groups of up to five girls work in teams to develop mobile app “startups” that help solve problems in their communities. At the end of the season, each team competes in a state-wide competition in Minneapolis, with the winners moving on to regional and national competitions.
If you are interested in mentoring or getting additional information please join us at Coach & Mentor Rally on Sunday, October 29 from 2:00-4:00 PM at John Adam's Room G8 Computer Lab.
